Family Association

The Family Association’s mission is to support our children's education by working together to create community-building activities and funding additional enrichment activities. Family Association members are parents, teachers and administrators who meet monthly to plan events and share ideas about how we can achieve our goals.

We encourage all family members of children attending ECEC to participate in our monthly meetings and/or volunteer for events at the school. There are no membership dues. Join us!

The Family Association coordinates and sponsors events like:

• Summer Social
• Legoland
• Teacher Appreciation Week
• UC San Diego student group performances (e.g., Triton Ohana Ukulele)
• Diverse enrichment performances and activities (e.g., Lunar New Year, Rhythm Child, Irish Dancers, Japanese Storytelling, Martin Luther King Gospel Choir)
• San Diego Children’s Museum
• Fun-raiser events

How to Get Involved

• Attend monthly meetings to share your ideas. We embrace our diversity and value everyone's feedback about our activities. The Family Association meets each month during school hours in person and/or via Zoom.
• Volunteer at events. We are able to do what we do only with the help of great volunteers like you.
